Headquartered at Lakeshore Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Claremont is a family-owned real estate development company founded in 1968 by its current Chairman & CEO, Patrick Carney. With a long history of owning and operating properties across multifamily, hospitality, retail, industrial, office, and mixed-use sectors, the firm now focuses primarily on the multifamily, commercial, and hospitality industries. The Claremont Campus At Lakeshore Center

Spanning over 170 acres at our Bridgewater location, we are proud to host two of our signature multifamily properties, Viva Lakeshore and Axis at Lakeshore, along with a Marriott Residence Inn, two corporate offices – one in which we are headquartered, as well as a future development sites. Additionally, the site features over 2,500 feet of lakefront property, with plans underway to further develop a vibrant multi-use complex, including multifamily, hospitality, office, retail, and restaurants.

PHILANTHROPY

CARN BARN, NEW BEDFORD MA: Built in 1910, Car Barn was a hub for New Bedford’s horse-drawn street cars, which operated until 1947.

CLAREMONT PURCHASED the property in the 1970’s and converted the building into 114 apartments. The property has received numerous revitalization awards.
